Pre Conference: Building Inclusive Teams
Everyone wants to be part of something bigger. All learners deserve to feel included and connected to others. It’s an innate desire of ours. This desire for inclusivity has even led some colleges to offer essay prompts for asking students about how and why they join and create inclusive spaces and communities on their campus.
We are excited to offer a Pre-Conference Session focused on building inclusive teams, hosted by our Conference Keynote Speaker, Will Torres; GPACAC Inclusion, Access, and Success (IAS) Committee Chair, Jerome Bennett; and IAS Committee Member, Alyssa Myrick!
The 2025 GPACAC pre-conference opportunity aims to encourage and empower GPACAC members to consider identity, power, privilege and best practices for greater inclusivity in all of our works. Through three distinct modules, we will focus on student facing efforts, identity work (individual and collective), and implementation of collaboratively curated best practices.
This session will run from 1:00-4:00 PM on Wednesday, April 9th, prior to the start of Conference. Cost to attend this session is $50. Register now using this form or add it to your conference registration!
Continuing Education Credits:
We are thrilled to assist with Continuing Education Credits. If you need a certificate of CE hours completed at the GPACAC Conference, please indicate that in your registration and we will contact you directly.

Cancellation Policy:
- GPACAC will refund the conference registration fee minus a $50 processing fee when written notice is given 30 or more calendar days prior to the conference start date.
- No refunds will be given after 30 of fewer calendar days to the event start date.
- Transfers of registration to another attendee can be made up to 7 days before the conference start date.
- Vendors and exhibitors/sponsors will not be granted a refund.
- If an individual registrant needs to cancel their participation in the 2025 Conference due to personal circumstances, then the same refund policy as outlined above is in effect. If the in-person conference is canceled, GPACAC leadership will assess and decide a best course of action, announcing the policy to membership, if this should arise.
